Donald Brophy, CPA

In 2018, Donald joined the Farkouh Furman & Faccio team as a tax director. These days, he is semi-retired and serves the firm in a consulting capacity. His primary function is as a tax return reviewer. A professional in the field since 1980, he has significant experience working in banking, trust, and estate.

An adaptable professional, Donald is known for his quirky but positive outlook. His favorite book is Catch 22 because “it’s absurd, like life.” Donald chose to pursue a career in accounting after failing calculus. He attributes his success in the field to a combination of luck, perspective, and a knack for organization.

Born in Jersey City, Donald currently lives in Spring Lake. He enjoys the area for its proximity to the ocean. In his free time, Donald likes to study history and build wooden boats.
