Norton joined FF&F in 2013 as Tax Director. He has extensive expertise in tax planning for international businesses and individuals. Additionally, he is FF&F’s primary expert on issues involving tax planning for pass-through entities. Norton’s professional focus includes tax planning for closely held businesses in sectors such as software development, retail, licensing of intellectual property, information services and marketing.

Prior to joining FF&F, he spent 7 years as an attorney at Withers Bergman LLP, a tax-oriented law firm, and 8 years in the Tax practice with Deloitte. Norton’s depth of experience also allows him to advise clients in income tax matters related to trusts, estates and grantors. He is a member of FF&F’s Business Team in the Partnership, International Tax, and M&A focus areas; he is also a member of the Global Mobility Practice Group within Alliott Global Alliance, worldwide association of independent accounting, legal and consulting firms.
