NEW YORK, NY – January 18, 2019. Farkouh, Furman & Faccio LLP (“FF&F”), a leading boutique accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of accounting interns Ian Barnes, James Cheng and Raid Murshed.

Previously at State University of New York (SUNY) Orange College, where he was a member of the Business Club, Ian Barnes is an undergraduate student at City University of New York (CUNY) Baruch College pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy. His interests include soccer, cars, music, fashion, traveling and food. Barnes currently resides in Astoria, NY.

Expecting to receive his Master of Science in Taxation this year, James Cheng is currently a graduate student at CUNY Baruch College, where he also received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Cheng has successfully completed all sections of the CPA exam, with receipt of his license in progress. His interests include handball and coffee. Cheng currently resides in New York, NY.

Previously at SUNY Westchester College, Raid Murshed is currently an undergraduate student at CUNY Lehman College, pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the National Association for Black Accountants (NABA), and soccer is among his interests. Murshed currently resides in Yonkers, NY.

Barnes, Cheng and Murshed join Anwar Chan, who has been with FF&F as an intern since summer 2018. Chan is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he received both his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science in Accountancy. Prior to joining FF&F, he gained experience doing tax preparation and accounting at a Brooklyn, NY tax firm. He has successfully completed all sections of the CPA exam, with receipt of his license in progress. Chan’s interests include baseball, basketball and video games. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
