FF&F Gives Back to the Food Bank for New York City
On November 26th, FF&F’s team came together for a different kind of busy season: the season of giving! Members of our staff, managers and partners took the opportunity to give back to the local community by repacking donated goods at the Food Bank for New York City‘s distribution warehouse at Hunts Point in the Bronx. Our repackaged boxes went directly to food pantries and community kitchens throughout the five boroughs, supplying warm meals and daily necessities to those in need.
One of the strongest qualities of FF&F is the teamwork that’s shared among our staff. By sorting goods into boxes of specific categories and weights, our team supplied exactly 2,432 meals to those in need by repackaging 2,918 pounds of goods in 2 hours!
As a firm, we gave back while having fun, and most importantly, we were able to give members of our local community a reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving and holiday season. Thanks to all who volunteered, the Food Bank for hosting us and a special thanks to our staff Amy Chou, John Rovegno and Natasha Rupnaraine for coordinating this special day!
