John Gontijo, CPA

Since 2012, John has been a valuable member of the Farkouh Furman & Faccio team. He joined the firm as a tax associate and now serves as a tax manager. In this capacity, he performs tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals. He has significant experience with international tax issues for individuals, both inbound and outbound. John also helps small business owners with bookkeeping and decision making. Lastly, he is responsible for managing and training staff and reviewing tax returns. Prior to joining Farkouh Furman & Faccio, John spent six years with a small CPA firm doing inbound taxes for foreign clients.

Born and raised in New York City, John still resides there today. He is married and has one son, Charles, who was born in 2018. John’s favorite thing about living in New York is that he can walk everywhere. He also enjoys observing the juxtaposition of hundred-year-old buildings next to brand new glass towers.
